This October the Market celebrates the foods of the Pennsylvania harvest with loads of fresh, local produce, cheeses and wines, hay rides, and games. Filbert Street will be transformed into an urban farm and closed to vehicle traffic. Families are invited to climb on an authentic farm tractor for a hayride around the Market and enjoy hot apple cider and award-winning Pennsylvania wines. There will be locally grown autumn harvest fruits and vegetables, a sidewalk barbecue of bratwurst, knockwurst and other specialty sausage sandwiches, and for those with a sweet tooth, there will be chocolate, caramel and candy-dipped apples.
