McGreevey being a homosexual has no bearing on my dislike for him. Sexual orientation is a non-issue. His deceit, contempt for sacred documents, unscrupulous spending, and scrambling of state law leads me to believe he is not fit to run the state of New Jersey. I can almost guarantee that had Cipel not gone public with the sexual harassment suit, McGreevey would have never disclosed this to the public, and he would have went on his merry way wrecking the state government. With his scrutinized background and incredulous handling of state affairs, the affair was an open door to McGreevey for an easy way out, and obviously, a way out on his own terms.
Fortunately, both Democrats and Republicans are seeing this and calling for an immediate resignation. McGreevey's trickery has been obvious, and he should take the hint now and resign immediately. His friend in the Senate can run the government interim, but he needs to put the power back into the hands of the people. McGreevey's own escape from insurmountable political trouble should not be to the disadvantage of the people's right to choose.

While being a homosexual does not automatically make one a crook, in McGreevey's case it certainly went a long way. After all, if one ignores common rules of decency and the natural order of things put in place by our Creator, the door is opened to a willingness to commit other violations of common law as well (lying, stealing, etc. (Continued…)
