Drexel dedicates field to beneficent aulumn

Athletic Director Eric Zillmer was one of many Drexel dignitaries in attendance. Zillmer thanked Buckley and his wife, Marlene, on behalf of the Athletic Department and presented him with a framed picture of the new, artificial-turf Buckley Field.

The Drexel field hockey team undoubtedly had dreams of opening Buckley Field with a huge victory over visiting William and Mary. Unfortunately, those dreams ended as Carly Falgowski's shot off a corner found the back of the Drexel net with just 1:37 to play.

Men's soccer take OT victory 1-0

Drexel senior forward Derek Bickford scored the game-winning goal with just over seven minutes remaining in overtime, giving the Dragons a 1-0 win over the Hofstra Pride Sept. 30.
