A message from the DAC Pack President

By Rob Falcone

"No one, and I mean no one, comes into our house, and pushes us around."-From Rudy Hi, my name is Rob Falcone. Like most of you reading this, I go to Drexel, a school surrounded by several other major Universities to whom we are often compared. I'm told that I don't have as nice a campus to enjoy as my counterparts at Penn, nor do I have as much money as students at Villanova.

Last year, for the first time in Drexel history, the men's basketball team defeated three Big 5 schools and finished with 23 wins, the most in 11 years. From talking with them after the season wrapped up last year, through the summer and in the pre-season, it seems like they've definitely raised the bar for expectations.

By James Mason

This year should be another competitive and successful year for the CAA. While ODU is favored to win its 16th straight conference title, every year it seems like the gap between ODU and the rest of the conference gets smaller and smaller. Yet, the question this year remains the same as the past 15 years: Is this the year when ODU is finally knocked off? Sound familiar? Those are the exact words from the 2006 version of the CAA women's basketball preview.

D.U. Women's Basketball Preview 2007-2008

By James Mason

Last year, the Dragons had a season like no one else in the conference. The Dragons were prepared to move on without Catherine Scanlon, Jackie Falson and Candice Williams. What they weren't prepared for was the loss of star forward Nicole Hester to Hodgkin's Lymphoma, often referred to as Hodgkin's disease.

Walking is the best means of transportation for Drexel basketball this upcoming seasoning

By Brett Fischer

You made a promise to yourself. Since the men's basketball team did so well last year and was close to making the NCAA Tournament, you vowed to become a true Drexel basketball fan. While it is difficult to officially determine how passionate you are for the team, you figure that a person would have to attend at least 60% of the games for the season to be labeled as a "true Drexel basketball fan.
