The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

7 p.m. College of Medicine

A Drexel employee reported that on July 7, unknown person/s took an envelope containing cash and checks that was left on top of a desk in an unlocked office.

July 13, 2009

BURGLARY

6:30 a.m. Millenium Hall

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that unknown person/s entered the construction site in an unknown manner, took two hard hats, and wrote graffiti on an electrical panel box.

BICYCLE THEFT

9:50 a.m. 400 Block of N. 34th St.

A Drexel student reported that unknown person/s cut the porch railing and took his bike that was secured to the railing with a kryptonite lock.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

12:30 p.m. 200 Block of N. 32nd St.

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that unknown person/s broke the right front window to his vehicle and took a GPS system that was left in plain view.

BICYCLE THEFT

11 a.m. Caneris Hall

A Drexel student reported that unknown person/s cut the lock and took her bike from the bike rack in front of Caneris Hall.

July 14, 2009

THEFT FROM BUILDING

4:10 p.m. Daskalakis Athletic Center

A Drexel student reported that unknown person/s took his gym bag from a locker that he left unsecured.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

3:45 p.m. Daskalakis Athletic Center

A Drexel student reported that unknown person/s took his wallet that was left unattended and unsecured on a bench in the DAC.

July 15, 2009

BURGLARY

1:40 a.m. 3200 Block of Winter St.

A Drexel student reported that an unknown male entered her residence through an unlocked front door, and took her cell phone and personal property that was left unattended on a table.
