The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between July 10, 2014 and July 22, 2014. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
ASSAULT (1)
July 15, 10 a.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
A Drexel student reported that July 15, between 10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m., while riding the SEPTA trolley, he was assaulted by an unknown male. The student received no injuries.
THEFT (6)
July 10, 3000 Block of Market Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that between July 10 and July 14, unknown person(s) took their ThinkPad computer left in an unlocked desk drawer in an unsecured office.
July 11, 3300 Block of Baring Street
Two Drexel students reported that, between July 11 and July 16, unknown person(s) took clothing and personal items from their apartment.
July 17, 11 a.m. 3200 Block of Pearl Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that July 17, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., unknown person(s) took two plastic chairs from his open front porch.
July 18, Noon 3400 Block of Chestnut Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that July 18, between noon and 12:20 p.m., unknown person(s) took a plastic cash jar that was left unattended on a counter.
July 20, 11:15 p.m. 3300 Block of Baring Street
A Drexel student reported that, between 11:25 p.m. and 11:35 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and took a laptop computer and various personal items that were in open view.
July 21, 7:15 p.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
A Drexel student reported that July 21, between 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m., unknown person(s) took their wallet that was left unattended on a bench.
VANDALISM (1)
July 19, 400 Block of North 42nd Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that between July 19 and July 21, unknown person(s) threw a rock through the side window of their construction vehicle.
