The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between June 18, 2014, and June 24, 2014. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
SEXUAL ASSAULT (1)
September 2013, 3500 Block of Hamilton Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that in September 2013, she was sexually assaulted by a male Drexel student known to her.
THEFT (7)
June 13, 3200 Block of Market Street
A Drexel student reported that, between June 13 and June 14, unknown person(s) entered his unsecured office and took two solar powered chargers from his unlocked desk drawer.
June 14, Noon 3400 Block of Spring Garden Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that June 14, between noon and 5 p.m., unknown person(s) entered her room and took personal items that were left in view. There were no signs of forced entry.
June 14, 3300 Block of Arch Street
A Drexel student reported that between June 14 and June 16, unknown person(s) entered her unlocked vacant room and took cash and jewelry that was left unattended.
April 2014, 3200 Block of Arch Street
A Drexel employee reported that during the month of April 2014, unknown person(s) entered a desk in a suite and took cash that was left in an envelope. There were no signs of forced entry.
June 21, 5:30 p.m. Unit North 33rd Street
A Drexel affiliate reported that June 21, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., unknown person(s) took his iPhone that was left unattended on a lawn chair.
June 20, 3200 Block of Chestnut Street
A Drexel affiliate reported that between June 20 and June 23, unknown person(s) entered an unlocked office, forced a cabinet drawer and removed cash from a cash box.
June 22, Noon 3100 Block of Market Street
A Drexel student reported that June 22, between noon and 10 p.m., unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a bicycle pole with a chain lock.
VANDALISM (1)
June 14, Midnight 200 Block of North 34th Street
A Drexel student reported that June 14, between midnight and 1:30 a.m., three males known to him entered his property and damaged a wall in the hallway.
HARASSMENT (1)
June 4, 3200 Block of Race Street
A Drexel student reported that between June 4 and June 6, she had received several text messages from an unknown source that were disturbing and upsetting to her.
POLICY VIOLATION (1)
During the period of this report, there was one (1) Policy Violation for alcohol. The report was sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
