Crime and Policy Violation Report Sept. 16 to Sept. 23

The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between Sept. 17 and Sept. 23.  All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

ASSAULT (1)

Sept. 19, 9:45 a.m. 100 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that while walking in the block an unknown male struck her in the shoulder with his fist. No injuries.

THEFT (4)

Sept. 18 to Sept. 19, 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. 3100 block of Ludlow Street

A Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) broke the window to his automobile and took cash that was left in an unlocked console.

Sept. 18 to Sept. 19, 7:30 a.m. 3100 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard

A Drexel student reported that between Sept. 18 and Sept. 19, unknown person(s) broke the window to her automobile and took personal items left in view.

Sept. 20, 9 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. 2900 block of Queen Lane

A Drexel employee reported that unknown person(s) broke into her automobile and took a GPS and an iPod.

Sept. 23, 12:35 p.m. and 12:42 p.m. 3200 block of Chestnut Street

A Drexel affiliate reported that two unknown males entered the bookstore, took merchandise and fled the store without paying.

VANDALISM (4)

Sept. 18 to Sept. 19, 200 block of North 36th Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that between Sept. 18 and Sept. 19, unknown person(s) spray-painted graffiti on the wall of a vacant building.

Sept. 18 to Sept. 19, 3100 block of Ludlow Street

A Drexel student reported that the front window to her automobile was broken in an unknown manner.

Sept. 20 to Sept. 21, 3100 block of Market Street

A Drexel student reported that the front window to his automobile was broken in an unknown manner.

Sept. 23, 3:23 a.m. 3200 block of Powelton Avenue

A Drexel student reported a male known to him damaged the front door of his residence.
