Crime and Policy Violation Report May 8-13

The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between May 8, 2014, and May 13, 2014. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

BURGLARY (1)

May 7, 8 a.m. 3400 Block of Race Street

A Drexel student reported that May 7, between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked front door and took electronic equipment and medication.

THEFT (3)

May 6, 200 Block of North 35th Street

A Drexel student reported that between May 6 and May 7, unknown person(s) entered her vehicle with no sign of force and took a toolbox and the vehicle license plate.

May 9, 11:40 a.m. 3500 Block of Market Street

A Drexel student reported that May 9, between 11:40 a.m. and 12:10 p.m., unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a bicycle rack with a cable lock.

May 9, 3:30 p.m. 3100 Block of Ludlow Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that May 9, at about 3:30 p.m., she observed a male reach into an open window of her unlocked vehicle and take her iPhone from the front seat.

POLICY VIOLATION (3)

During the period covered in this report there were three (3) Policy Violations for Alcohol. The reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
