Upcoming “it” girl Alicia Vikander showed up to the Golden Globes red carpet in a white Louis Vuitton number. The dress was flattering and elegant on the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominee. It featured pleating at the skirt and a frilly trim at the top. Vikander, who stars in “The Danish Girl” and “Ex-Machina”, is a favorite for this awards season with her two big movies, and is grabbing the attention of fashion critics quickly.

“Game of Thrones” icon Emilia Clarke looked like the queen in Valentino Haute Couture. Her gown was indescribably beautiful. Clarke wore a black semi-sheer dress that covered the majority of her body, but made heads turn. Of course the showstopper of this piece was an embellished cape to take the drama to another level.

Jennifer Lawrence winning Best Performance by an Actress in “Joy” was not her only victorious moment at the Golden Globes. Lawrence looked fierce in a red Christian Dior couture gown, that did nothing but flatter the sought after star. She even topped it off with a massive diamond collar by Chopard. The slim cutouts really accentuated her amazing physique and added just the right amount of edge.

Zendaya has been an emerging icon in the fashion industry, and on the radar since her standout Fausto Puglisi dress at last year’s Met Gala. This time, she wowed us with a crimson tiered dress by Marchesa. The young star looked confident and comfortable in the daring gown, which was sleeveless and featured a deep V plunge.

Although simple and subtle, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s gown was a major favorite on the carpet. The sparkly beige Atelier Versace dress cinched slightly at the waist, and lightly pleated material made the bottom of the dress flow elegantly across the carpet. With minimal jewelry, she let her skintone and hair color be accentuated by the color of the dress.

Wiz Khalifa has been around for awhile, but he’s up and coming in the fashion world. The artist is 6’4” and has a very slim frame, meaning runway clothes are practically made for him. Khalifa has used this to his advantage while developing his newly found style.

For his Best Original Song nomination, Khalifa wore a Thom Browne bespoke suit that featured ankle length trousers and a bird printed tie, paired with Gucci slippers to complete the look.
