Swimming, diving finish impressive 2017 season
The Drexel University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed at the 2017 AT&T Winter National Championships in Columbus, Ohio Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.

Men’s swimming, diving take first, women second
The Drexel University women’s swimming team competed at the Patriot Invitational Nov. 16-18. They earned second place out of seven teams. The Dragons finished with a score of 756.50 behind first place winners University of North Carolina Wilmington with 850 points.

Tennis teams take singles and doubles wins against Temple
The Drexel University men’s and women’s tennis teams had another successful weekend. The men played against Temple University and Bucknell University at the Temple Invitational while the women faced off against Temple in a match that was postponed from last week.The women’s team welcomed the Owls to Vidas Courts Oct. 13. The Dragons only won two of the six matches played against Temple.

Jay Cutler and Adam Gase reunited in Miami for 2017
Former Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, came out of retirement last week to sign a one-year-deal with the Miami Dolphins. Cutler played eight years with the Bears before they released him during the off-season. He had announced his retirement and was set to work as a sports commentator until a starting quarterback position opened up in Miami. Ryan Tannehill who was the shoe-in starter for the Dolphins, suffered a severe knee injury that will keep him off the field for possibly the entire season.
