W. lacrosse tumbles versus PSU
The Drexel women’s lacrosse team struggled March 26, falling to No. 11 The Pennsylvania State University by a final score of 21-8, the team’s third straight loss.

Women’s lax rebounds to win back-to-back games
Following a three-game losing streak, the Drexel women’s lacrosse team has bounced back strong, winning back-to-back games. These included a win against University of Maryland, Baltimore County and most recently a 10-8 victory over rival La Salle University March 13.

Colgate women’s lacrosse flosses Drexel in 13-10 loss
Coming off a tough loss to No. 15 State University of New York at Stony Brook last week, the Drexel women’s lacrosse team was looking to get back on track against Colgate University March 1 in its first road game of the season. Unfortunately for the Dragons, their road opener did not end in celebration.

The Drexel women’s lacrosse team finished its season-opening three-game homestand Feb. 26 with mixed results. The Dragons were able to secure impressive victories in their first two games of the season, but fell hard to Stony Brook University in their attempt to sweep the first three games of the season.

After dropping four straight games, including a 6-1 debacle against the Boston Bruins, the Philadelphia Flyers got back on the winning track with a 5-0 blowout win over the Detroit Red Wings Jan. 28.

Flyers suddenly on losing streak
After a snowstorm forced the Jan. 21 game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes to be delayed, the two teams took to the Wells Fargo Center ice Jan. 22. After a rough start, the Flyers could not complete the comeback as they fell to the Hurricanes, 3-2.

Following a rough weekend in which Philadelphia lost back-to-back games to the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers, the Flyers got back on track with a 4-3 win against the Buffalo Sabres Jan. 14.
