Opera on the Mall

Opera Philadelphia cordially invites you to pack your picnic baskets and blankets and join the community for a free big-screen broadcast of Verdi’s epic tale of liberation, “Nabucco,” in the shadow of Independence Hall. Tickets to Opera on the Mall are free, but registration is required! Please register online and bring your print-at-home ticket for expedited entrance to the Mall.

Pearl Street Block Party

Take part in the first-ever Pearl Street Block Party, hosted by the Asian Arts Initiative. This multidisciplinary arts center uses art as a vehicle to explore the experiences of Asian Americans and encourages all people to create art that reflects their lives. The block party will feature a range of activities such as constructing tables and chairs, live performances, and a community feast! So come join in this celebration of the rich cultural diversity and artistic community throughout the city.

Fourth annual Great 12-Hour Tour of Philadelphia

Join the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides for The Great 12-Hour, River-to-River, Vine-to-Pine, Rain-or-Shine Tour of Philadelphia. You can participate in any or all of the four walks covering four sections of the city, each lasting about two and a half hours. The guided walking tour is free and covers over 200 historic sites and attractions that make Philadelphia such a great place to live and visit! The tour kicks off at 8 a.m. at the National Constitution Center and ends at 8 p.m. overlooking the Schuylkill River.

College Day

Campus Philly introduces new and returning students to all that Philadelphia has to offer. This year, meet Campus Philly at the Art Museum Steps for College Day starting at 10 a.m.! Enjoy music, food, recreational activities, art and culture, free swag, and more (plus, run the Rocky Steps — come on, you have to do it at least once). Students will also enjoy free admission to select museums and cultural attractions on the Parkway and in Historic Philadelphia with their valid student IDs.
